Affiliate agreement

1. The programme

Riwaq al-Ilm invites approved partners to introduce families to our online Qur'an and Arabic classes using a personal referral link. Applications are reviewed by hand and may be declined or ended at our discretion.

2. How referrals are credited

A family is credited to you when they first visit through your link and then submit an enquiry or free-trial request within 90 days. The first affiliate link a family uses is the one credited, and a family credited to you is not later reassigned to another affiliate.

You cannot earn commission on your own family or household.

3. Commission

You earn commission once per referred family, on their first successful payment: 15% of a one-time course payment or 20% of the first monthly subscription payment, unless different rates are agreed with you in writing.

Subscription renewals and later purchases do not earn commission unless we enable this for your account in writing. Commission is calculated on the amount paid excluding taxes and fees, and refunded or disputed amounts are not commissionable.

Rates may change for future payments. A change never alters commission you have already earned.

4. Holding period, refunds and payment

Commission is held for 30 days after the family's payment and then approved. Approved commission is paid by PayPal or Wise once your balance reaches US$50.

If a payment is refunded or disputed, the related commission is reversed. If it has already been paid to you, the amount is deducted from your next payout.

5. Honest promotion and disclosure

You must clearly disclose that you may earn a commission whenever you share your link — for example "#ad" or "I earn a commission if you enrol" — as required by the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides.

Do not make claims about our teachers, results, pricing or credentials that are not on our website. Do not use paid search ads on our brand name, spam, or misleading or offensive content. Content aimed at children must be addressed to their parents.

6. Privacy

Your dashboard shows referred families only as anonymous references with their purchase and commission amounts. You will never receive the names, contact details or information about the children of families you refer, and you must not attempt to obtain it from us.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for your own taxes. Before your first payout we will ask for a W-9 (US persons) or W-8BEN (others). US affiliates paid US$600 or more in a year will receive a Form 1099-NEC.

8. Ending the agreement

Either side may end this agreement at any time. Approved commission earned before the end date is paid as normal; commission connected to a breach of these terms may be withheld.
